Gifted Christmas Card

It's been a while since my last post!  I am sure that you are wondering what happened to me!  I have been in bed five out of the past seven days being sick – ugh!  But, today I am back and ready to share another quick and easy Christmas card that I received from Kim P. at Founder's Circle – isn't this fabulous!  This card has some of my favorite elements in it:  pearls (LOVE THEM!), cherry cobbler ink and card stock, and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  To order products for this card, click HERE to have it shipped direct to your door – it is really that easy!

Supplies:

Card Stock:

Cherry cobbler – cut one piece at 5 ½ x 8 ½” and fold in half for the base of the card

            And cut one piece at 2 ¾” x 2”

Whisper white – cut one piece at 4” x 5 ¼” and cut one piece at 1 ¾” x 2 ½”

Step by Step:

1. Run the 4” x 5 ¼” whisper white card stock through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  Attach to the cherry cobbler – base of card – with the raised dots down.  The dented part of the polka dot should be on the front of the card.
2. Attach the 2 ¾” x 2” cherry cobbler card stock to the center of the whisper white card stock using mini glue dots.
3. Stamp the “Merry Christmas” using cherry cobbler ink onto the 1 ¾” x 2 ½” whisper white card stock.  Using the wide oval punch, cut out the “Merry Christmas” and set aside.
4. Put 4 dimensionals on the back of the remaining piece from #3 above – the one with the hole in the center and mount to the center of the small cherry cobbler card stock from #2 above.
5. Take the “Merry Christmas” that you cut out and mount into the center of the wide oval punched out image in #4 by using snail adhesive.
6. Remove the pearls from the Pearls set and cover the center of the ornaments in the “Merry Christmas:  A little one is in the middle of the candy.
7. Tie a bow in the ½” cherry cobbler seam binding.  Attach to top left of the center ornament using a mini glue dot.
8. Your card is finished!
