Gather Together Stamp Set/Dies Tips!

Did you know that the Gather Together stamp set and corresponding framelits are one of my favorites in the current Holiday catalog? Well, it is! So, a little story behind today’s tip that I would like to share with you. My husband, Lynn, and I attended Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event in Hartford, Connecticut a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my 20th year with Stampin’ Up!. We flew into Portland, Maine and stayed with friends and we had plenty of stamping while we were there. Ruth is my dear demonstrator friend and showed me the tip for today’s video – I never thought of it before!

We drove from Portland, Maine to Hartford – which is about a 3 hour drive. I was driving one car (with my friends!) and Lynn and Steve (Ruth’s husband) were in the other car. So blessed that the sun was shining, no snow, ice, or rain and the roads were clear. It was a little different driving out East rather than the Minneapolis area, but I think I fared pretty well. The event started on Saturday and I was honored to walk across the stage to celebrate my 20th year, my name was announced and then got my picture taken with 7 others celebrating the same achievement – I was so proud of myself!! My husband won a new stamp set from the mini catalog that will start in January – he promptly handed it over after I took a picture – LOL!

I’ve included some pictures too to show some of our adventures! And then, on to the video for today’s tip – I hope you enjoy it! Don’t forget to add your comments in the section below this blog post – I LOVE to hear from you!
