Ears to You stamp set

 

Supplies:

  • Ears to You stamp set
  • Just Believe stamp set
  • Primrose Petals marker
  • Raspberry Ripple marker
  • Regal Rose marker
  • Old olive stamp pad
  • Old olive marker
  • Big Shot
  • Ovals framelits collection
  • Vine Embossing folder
  • 1/16" circle punch
  • Raspberry ripple ribbon
  • Subtles brads
  • Mini glue dots
  • dimensionals

Card Stock:

  • Whisper White – cut one piece at 4 1/4" x 11"
  • Raspberry ripple – cut one piece at 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Whisper white – cut one piece at 3 3/4" x 5"
  • scraps of whisper white and raspberry ripple

Step by Step:

  1. Put the 3 3/4" x 5" whisper white card stock in the vine embossing folder and run through the Big Shot.  Attach to the 4" x 5 1/4" raspberry ripple card stock.  Attach all to the whisper white – base of card.
  2. Take a piece of raspberry ripple card stock and cut using the 3" x 4" framelit and cut out using the Big Shot.
  3. Inking up the Ears to You stamp using your markers as shown above – stamp onto a scrap piece of whisper white card stock.
  4. Create a mask of the two bunnies on the right and place over the top of the bunnies.  Ink up the leaves from the stamp in the Just Believe stamp set using old olive ink.  Stamp over the 2 bunnies on the right.  Remove mask.  Punch a 1/16" hole in 2 of the leaves and insert a brad in each one as shown above.  Attach this whisper white card stock to the oval in #3 above.  Put dimensionals on the back of the frame and attach to the center of the card.
  5. Tie a bow using the Raspberry Ripple ribbon and attach to the card under the "Ears to You" using mini glue dots.
  6. Your card is finished!

Punch Art Easter Bunny!

For today's post I wanted to share an Easter Card that we completed at our Punch Art stamp club last night.  What do you think?!!  Please post your thoughts below – I would love to hear them!  This is not my original design – I was inspired by a card posted by Eva Dietz online.

Easter Card

 

Supplies:

 

  • Delightful Dozen stamp set
  • Black Staz On stamp pad
  • Stampin’ dimensionals
  • Full Heart punch
  • Large oval punch
  • small oval punch
  • small circle punch
  • Floral district dsp
  • basic black marker
  • whisper white 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon

 

Card Stock:

 

  • Whisper white – cut one piece at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half for base of card
  • Baja breeze – cut one piece at 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Floral district dsp – cut one piece at 3 3/4" x 4"
  • Scraps of whisper white and pink pirouette

 

Step by Step:

 

  1. Attach the Baja breeze dsp from the Floral District package to the Baja breeze card stock.
  2. Wrap a piece of 1/4" whisper white stitched grosgrain ribbon around the card stock where the dsp meets the Baja breeze card (as shown above).  Tape ends on back of the card.  Attach all to the whisper white – base of card.
  3. Tie another smaller piece of ribbon around the ribbon already in place and tie in a knot to create a faux bow.
  4. Stamp "Happy Easter" from the Delightful Dozen stamp set using black staz on ink on the bottom center of the Baja breeze card stock.
  5. To create the bunny:

 

·         Full heart – cut one from scraps of whisper white card stock.

 

·         large oval – cut 2 for the ears from whisper white card stock.

 

·         small oval – cut 2 for the inside of the ears from scraps of pink pirouette card stock.

 

·         small circle – cut 1 for the nose

 

  1. Assemble the bunny as shown above.   Put dimensionals on the back of the bunny and put above the ribbon as shown.
  2. Using the basic black marker, create the whiskers and the mouth of the bunny.
  3. Your card is finished!

  • Easter Blessings stamp set
  • Lacy and Lovely stamp set
  • Sycamore street dsp
  • Elegant eggplant stamp pad
  • 2 way glue pen
  • Dazzling diamonds glitter

 

Card Stock:

 

  • Perfect Plum – cut one piece at 4 ¼” x 11”
  • Whisper white – cut one piece at 4” x 3 ½” and one piece at 2” x 3 ¼”
  • Sycamore street dsp – cut one piece at 1 ½” x 4”
  • Perfect plum – cut one piece at 3 1/2” x 2 ¼”
  • Summer starfruit – cut one piece at 3 3/8” x 2 1/8”

 

Step by Step:

 

 

  1.  Score the perfect plum card stock at 1 7/8”, 3 ¾”, 7 ½” and 9 ¼”.  Fold as shown above.
  2. Attach the sycamore street dsp to both of the outer flaps.
  3. Stamp the paisley stamp into the elegant eggplant ink and stamp onto the bottom corner of the whisper white – 4” x 3 ½” card stock.  Attach to inside of the card.
  4. Stamp “Easter Blessings” onto the 2” x 3 ¼” whisper white card stock using elegant eggplant ink.
  5. Attach the whisper white from #4 above, summer starfruit, and perfect plum card stock together.  Attach all to the left flap of the base of the card – making sure not to tape the whole thing as part of the perfect plum card stock is free standing.
  6. Your card is finished!

For today’s post, I wanted to share an absolutely fabulous card that I received from Lynne Tormoen at Leadership Conference last week.  Isn’t it fabulous?!!  This should give you some inspiration to make that special Valentine’s Day card – its’ just around the corner!

  • Adorning Accents embossing folder
  • Scalloped heart of hearts embosslits
  • Fashionable hearts embosslits
  • 2 3/8” scallop circle punch
  • 2 ½” circle punch
  • Modern label punch
  • Word window punch
  • Rhinestones
  • Polka dot parade dsp
  • dimensionals

 

Card Stock:

 

  • Real red – cut one piece at 4 ¼” x 11” – see scoring instruction in #1 below!
  • Real red polka dot parade dsp – cut two different designs – one at ¾” x 4 ¼” and one at ½” x 3 ¼”
  • Whisper white – cut one piece at 4” x 4” for the inside of the card for your greeting
  • Scraps of whisper white, real red, and basic black

 

Step by Step:

 

  1. Score the real red card stock at 2 ½” and 6 ¾” .  The 2 ½” flap is the top of the card.  Take the 2 ½” circle punch and punch out the right side of the real red card stock on the 2 ½” flap – the punch should be centered over the score line and should have approximately a ½” of real red card stock showing on the right side and 1 3/8” real red card stock showing on the left.  Punch out.
  2. Put the 2 ½” flap into the hearts embossing folder (on the score line) and run through the Big Shot.
  3. Put the larger flap – at the 6 ¾” score line into the hearts embossing folder and run through the Big Shot.
  4. On the top 2 ½” flap – tape the ¾” x 4 ¼” polka dot real red dsp on the bottom of the flap.
  5. Repeat this process with the real red circle dsp – making sure to notch out using scissors or a square punch.  Attach over the polka dot dsp as shown in card above.
  6. Punch out the following:
    1. Modern label punch – basic black
    2. Word window punch – stamp Happy Valentines Day using basic black staz on and punch out using word window punch.
    3. 2 3/8” scallop circle punch – basic black
    4. Scalloped heart of hearts embosslit – real red and cut out using the Big Shot.
    5. Fashionable heart of hearts embosslit – whisper white and cut out using the Big Shot.
  7. Attach your greeting to the 2 ½” flap of the card using dimensionals.  Attach a rhinestone to the left of the greeting.
  8. Fold up the card – all flaps and tape the black scallop circle into the hole that is created.  Attach the red heart using mini glue dots.   Attach the white heart using a stamping dimensional.,
  9. Your card is finished!
